Veneers

Veneers have advanced quite a bit from their earlier stages, with the creation of thinner and stronger materials with life like translucencies, which allows for better designing and stacking techniques. At The Tooth Studio we design all types. From refractory veneers to match that tough shade and characterization,or partial veneers to replace chips, or inlays and onlays. On facials we create a contact lens effect so that the translucency is used to make a non-noticeable transition.
We mainly use empress esthetic and e.max press to design our veneers. The fit and strength in the lab are outstanding, which translates into better results clinically. The advent of the new impulse ingots from e.max allows us tocreate thinner veneers.E.max can be manufactured to .3mm thickness with no cracking, and still have the strength to be characterized and contoured in the lab. Empress esthetic can be manufactured down to. 5mm.
We know that just as every thing else there are indications and contraindications for all types of veneers, but now with the new e.max we just added more weapons to our arsenal for producing life-like unnoticeable veneers.
Currently we offer:
- Refractory veneers with d.sign porcelain from ivoclar
- Empress esthetic
- E.max: LT,HT, Impulse [ incisal shade 1,2,3 and opal 1, &2(link to Emax Page, opal effects)
Our Refractory veneering porcelain
IPS D.SIGN
D.sign porcelain has a unique combination of fluorapatite and leucite crystals that closely emulate the optical properties of natural teeth and assists it in dispersing light in a manner similar to natural dentition. This combination allows for the d.SIGN porcelain to achieve an optimum combination of bright colors and high translucency unmatched by it's competitors while still retaining enough thickness and durability to be fully functional. d.Sign Veneers offer the maximum esthetic results while providing enhanced shade stability and true to nature fluorescence as well as a superior fit. Using refractory dies, we are able to create the most esthetic and natural appearing veneers to be placed over the remaining tooth structure, providing a result that is virtually indistinguishable from natural dentition.
