At the tooth studio we can do all types of inlays or onlays, and our preferred method is using the refractory Empress or E.max ingots, for its high translucency and superior strength.
The prep is crucial to the success inlays:A conservative preparation with maximum tooth preservation is optimal; and the designing software desires clean line angles, parallel draw and definitive margins.
WithE.max Cad, the internal prep angle to the floor is 90 degrees.
WithE.max Press, the internal angle needs a slight shamper to the floor of the prep.
