Procera Implant Bars (PIB)s and Overdenture Bars
The Procera Implant Bridges and Overdenture bars are the premium restoration for your next partial or full arch implant supported restoration. The Nobel Biocare Procera® Implant Bridge and Overdenture bar consist of the one-piece machined titanium or zirconia substructure and the carbon-fibered framework unit. The machined framework is made from a pattern that is scanned using a special scanner at The Tooth Studio then sent to the Nobel Biocare manufacturing facility. The scanner data of the framework pattern design and the data scanned from the individual implant platforms are transferred to the computer where the one-piece framework design is finalized and prepared for machining at the manufacturing facility. The one-piece framework designs can be created in a form that permits the development of individual tooth units or of a bar design that will be incorporated into the acrylic resin denture base of a fixed implant supported prosthesis. When the machining of the framework has been completed it is returned to the laboratory of origin for application of low fusing porcelain creating individual teeth that will appear to emerge from the implants at the fixture level or the framework is prepared for inclusion in the waxed denture base as the supporting substructure that may attach to the implants directly or to one of the several Nobel Biocare implant abutments. Our technicians at The Tooth Studio make the PIB frameworks. They are copy milled by either of the two Tooth Studio Nobel Scanners (Forte or NobelProcera Scanner [NEW]). The NobelProcera Over Denture Bars are designed digitally using the NobelProcera Scanner and Digital software. This is a better process because Nobel purchased BioCad last year, which gives us the capability of doing all overdenture bars fixed hybrids and removable hybrids with any attachments desired.

The Procera Implant Over Denture Bars area milled Titanium implant or abutment retained bridge framework that is completely passive. The PIB is a fixed-hybrid prosthesis. It's removable by the doctor, but not by that patient. Patients love it because they don’t' have to worry about taking it out. CAM StructSURE® Precision Milled Bars And Frameworks

CAM StructSURE Precision Milled Bars are created with the technology to achieve a truly passive fit. These are available in Hader and Dolder Designs for overdenture bars, primary bars and in fixed hybrid designs. This technology does not require any wax or resin design from the technician. The bars can be made on most major dental implants and abutments. Because these are milled from one solid piece of lightweight titanium, the potential for weakness caused by soldering or laser welded joints is eliminated. You receive a completed superstructure ready for prosthesis processing. No polishing or retention creation necessary. BIOMET 3i can even tap holes for attachments. Copy Milled Bars are also available for those who prefer to design a bar or framework in resin pattern to the patient’s specifications.
