The Tooth Studio Dental laboratory of San Antonio Texas, Has been in business in South Texas since 1980. And we have a combined experience in dental technology and prosthetics of over 40 years. We are highly trained and conscious technicians that do work for; fee for service doctors.
We are trained in the Dr. L.D Pankey methods and philosophy, and we apply the Dr. L.D PANKEY technique to every case we do.
Our Goal as dental professionals is to work as a team of intuitive and forward thinking dental artists, always working towards advancing the art of dental restorations. And we pledge to share our Research and Knowledge with dentists, as we work together to achieve excellence.
Over the years we have taken hundreds of hours in Continued Education Courses and continue to, through organizations like the : American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Integra institute, Baylor College of Dentistry, and many others. Studying to stay on the cuttting edge of all Dental Procedures, Technology, and Materials availabe.
We are dental implant specialists. And we can restore all implant systems, and design custom abutments on most cases to properly restore dental implants. We restore hundreds of implants a month, and with the in-house control we are achieving outstanding results.
We are certified in all Ivoclar products such as: E.max, Empress, all Nobel Biocare services and products, including the Forte scanner and the New Nobel Procera scanner, as well as Nobel Guide, All on Four, Five or Six, Titanium & Zirconia Implant bars. We are knowledgeable on all CAD/CAM systems, including Straumann Ekton, 3i Incise, and Cerec AC with MCXL milling. and Cerec Connect Inlab. We are also Certified in: Laser welding from Bti America.
At our dental laboratory we teach our lab technicians how to layer porcelain in a 3 Dimensional internal contrast of color, making the tooth look natural (giving the tooth depth, translucency and a natural appearance), as well as in Occlusion (the art of giving teeth the best fit possible in the relationship between the Arches). We also teach color courses and dental technology courses to dentists. And we are involved with multiple Seattle Study Clubs. We have also taught courses at Texas State Technical Institute.
At the Tooth Studio dental lab we strive to be on the cutting edge in both Anterior and Posterior Restorations; providing the best in Esthetics, Function and Form. And we have some of the most talented and qualified technicians in the dental restorative field.
And the core ethics we instill are based in our motto, which is “Every Tooth is a work of Art”.
Our Dental Laboratory is State of the Art: We have invested in all the new Technology and Software available to dental labs, in order to stay above the curve and be able to service all the needs of dentists in both modern and conventional settings. Even though the cost is more for us, we believe that having these machines in house gives us an advantage in making a superior product.
What we have to offer you is confidence in our resolve to make some of the best Dental prosthetics and restorations for crowns, bridges and implants, and a relationship built on Quality and Integrity. We may not be perfect everytime but we wont quit until we get it right.
